This is a high quality paper for sketching and drawing with fineliners, you will get 100 sheets. This paper has a slight serration, but not so much that your pen drags on the paper, the pen glides smoothly across this paper. The texture doesn't feel like cheap carbon paper and it's not heavy like cardboard, but it's a good intermediate tooth that allows you to apply multiple coats of colored pencil. I am very happy with this drawing pad and for the price I bought it. Note: If you use alcohol markers they will bleed through and this is normal on most papers, this isn't a big problem for me, I just use 2 pieces of notepad paper behind my page to stop the bleeding.
