In recent years we have had several different brands of robot vacuum cleaners. I had Shark, Ecovacs and Roomba. They lasted two or three years before showing the biggest problems with their relatively high operating costs or dead batteries. At the moment I use the Roborock S5 Max with mopping function in the living room with wooden floor and in the tiled kitchen on the ground floor. And I use a Roomba i3 with a self-dusting station in my upstairs carpeted room. I have two young children and a toddler who make a lot of messes around the house every day. And I don't have much time to sweep and vacuum daily. I have to say that there is a lot of clutter in my house every day. The Samsung Jet Bot robot vacuum was packaged very well and came out of the box ready to use. All I did was remove the plastic wrap and plug in the station. It took me a minute to connect the robot to my wifi. The SmartThings app was fairly user-friendly and easy to set up. The robot took several cleanings to get through my house. At first it seemed so random. And I made the mistake of mixing it up when I used it in two stories. While learning, navigating and creating a map by himself, having two different maps is very confusing. So I gave up and now only use it on our second floor. It's impossible to navigate in places where things are on the floor, so I usually put all things on the sofa in advance, like high chairs, music stands, walkers to give the robot more freedom of movement. My second floor is about 1,000 square feet, all carpet. It took about half an hour to work. This robot found the dirtiest areas and kept cleaning until they were clean. Lots of places were missed the first time, but the third or fourth time, not a single area went unnoticed. I noticed that my carpet was clean. The bin was much larger than my other robots and was fully washable. I don't think this is a good trash can design. When you open the dust bin, you need to take out the filter first, and then clean the bin. Another factor is battery life. It powers the vacuum in 120 minutes, about as long as it takes to vacuum my entire second floor. But from the app, he showed that he only cleared 353 square feet in 1 hour and 17 minutes. I don't think it's accurate. I am not satisfied with the design of the roller. The roller isn't made out of high-performance anti-static fibers, but I wish it was just a brush like other brands of robots. It didn't effectively reduce frizz. This robot can easily move over thick carpets, but it got stuck on my sliding door track, which none of my previous robot vacuums could get past. While it's easy to control with a smartphone app, I'm hoping it can connect via Google Home. System. So I can always control my vacuum robot by voice via Google Home. Anyway, it doesn't matter. Overall, I am 80% satisfied with this Samsung Jet Bot. The suction power is the same as the robot vacuum cleaners of the most famous brands. But it is expensive. For the same price you can get a vacuum robot with a wiping function or a Roomba with a self-dusting station.
