Review on Victor Technologies G250-15-510 Medium Duty Acetylene Regulator - 15 psig Delivery Range, CGA 510 Inlet Connection by Erick Hernandez

This regulator is leaking. After installation, I opened the tank and heard and smelled gas. I only opened the tank 3/4 turn since it is acetylene. When I close the tank valve, the tank pressure needle slowly drops to zero. I sprayed all the connections with soapy water to check for leaks but found no leaks. It looks like the leak is coming from the regulator itself. I ran this test with the regulator adjustment screw in both the closed and open positions. the same results. I will return the device and then order a replacement.
