I wanted to use my new dash cam with parking mode but the fuse box cover in my car is too close to the fuses to use the tap. I found it and love it. My car always has a cigarette lighter plug in the console. I really only need one item, so I leave the rest of the connections disabled. I like that it manages the cameras and prevents my battery from completely draining. There is also a clear reading of the volts in my battery. Simply touching the socket number on the display turns it on and off. So if I park in the garage, I can just turn off the cameras. I love that you can set a maximum on time, but wish they had an option between 8 and 12. I want it to be on longer than 8 hours when I'm at work since I need at least 8 hours there am , but 12 hours is almost always too long. I've been using it for a month now and the temperature has hit 90F and I've had no problems in my car in direct sunlight all day. I may update this review after using it over the winter and see if I have any low battery issues.
