Review on πŸ’‘ High Temperature Probe Thermocouple Sensor- 1.65M Length - uxcell K Type 20cm by Tony Wylie

Unreliable

The device had a short circuit from both outputs to the case. Sometimes when he was resting he was within 10 degrees of room temperature, sometimes he was 30 degrees above room temperature only when lying on a bench (tree). Jiggle the cable and it jumps to 250 degrees, then 399 or some other random ridiculous temperature, sometimes even approaching zero degrees if the cable or probe wiggles. Hold the dipstick in front of the fan and the temperature reads something random and ridiculous. I understand that some probes ground the case to the pin, but when testing this unit BOTH wires were intermittently shorted to the case, so I don't think this was done on purpose, I think it's a defect. This is how I give the testimony that I have received.
