I've done the recommended tilt a few times (back and forth, not sideways or you will damage the toner). Pull out the used cartridge and insert a new one. Turned on the printer and sent the page to the printer. The page ended seven seconds after Win sent it to the printer. It was a clean and perfectly crisp black print. The great thing about this technology - and has been for over 25 years - is that you get a new drum with every new cartridge, effectively getting you a new printer. (Note that other brands don't include a new drum, you'll have to buy one separately when it wears out. Much faster than inkjet and sharper, crisp text and at a fraction of the cost of an inkjet printer. -- and never use clogged printheads or printhead cleaning ink.
