Works great. Good to use for a second external monitor to a laptop. This was a game changer for me as I figured I would end up having to buy an expensive dock/device to mount external dual monitors. So this was an inexpensive way to connect my second monitor since the first monitor is connected. via VDI/DVI port (on my old Lenovo). I researched online and was told that my laptop must have dual graphics cards in order to display on dual external monitors. It was not right! I installed Windows 10 and when I connected a second monitor via HDMI, my laptop and operating program immediately recognized the second monitor and I was able to personalize each monitor's settings in Windows 10.
