I bought this lock based on Amazon's high ratings, but if you look beyond the stars and read every review, you won't find that kind of confidence in purchasing this product. I figured a company willing to pay up to $1,500 for your stolen bike would have to be a great product that's never seen a bike stolen before, but turns out it's just a marketing gag is. As you can see from all the pictures of stolen bikes/locks you will think twice before you even consider completing your investment with this lock. My lock was picked in less than 7 seconds at the bar station in the paid area just below the camera. The guy obviously knew he could easily cut himself before making such an attempt. He got off the train, went to the bike deck, cut my lock, took my electric scooter and ran downstairs to catch the train. He used battery-powered power tools that didn't even need to be plugged into an outlet. It was that easy. I have read other reviews here so many people have the same misconception as me about this security product, this is a false sense of security. This company doesn't stand behind their product when it matters most. They just ignore you until you escalate via social media and then call you back but only to tell you the same thing. They will not admit that their product is not what it was made and sold for, and they will not support their $1,500 guarantee because it is in small print, making it impossible to make a claim.
