I have used 2 of these (so far) to replace 2 power door locks in my Toyota. They differed only slightly from the factory originals in visible features. As I expected, they were bloody difficult to install. But they fixed the problem and now the electric locks work. They saved me the better part of $500 off the best price I could find for the only parts Toyota seems to supply - in the form of a full lock assembly that extends from what you see on the end/edge of the door see. at the connection points of the levers on the inside of the door panel. And that would include no installation costs to get the dealer to do the job!
