Five stars: Easy Dripper

I love making coffee with this dripper on my day off! UPDATE 10/2/2016 This dripper makes really great coffee! I've watched online videos and read various blogs recommending timers, scales, and fancy kettles. But I don't think the apiary dripper needs those things. Like the BonMac Dripper, the Bee House Dripper can brew a great cup of coffee with minimal effort. I use a scale to weigh the beans for grinding, but that's where the scale ends for me. I use an inexpensive Wally World kettle and Melitta #2 filter. No timers, just pour, drop the level and pour more. Something I Learned 1. Use the scale to get the right amount of coffee every time. It pays off with consistently great cups once you find the amount of coffee you want.2. Filters #2 are slightly wider so figure out where to fold them to fit the apiary. I continue to fold the long edge about 1/4-1/2 inch and it works great.3. I boil water, mentally counting to 30 to bring the temperature down, then pour in just enough to wet the ground coffee well and count to 30 again while the coffee brews. Pour the water on the bottom in any order you like, let the level drop and add a little more. I use the beautiful viewing window in the Bee House Dripper to keep an eye on the coffee level in the cup. It usually takes 2 1/2 to 3 minutes but I don't appreciate it. Why bother, I can see when the cup is full! Tip: If you like coffee additives, add them to your cup before pouring. I like some milk so I pour it into the mug while the water heats up. I've found that the finished coffee mug is now hotter to drink than if I added milk afterwards (no rocket science, right?!).
