I used the Park CC2 circuit tester but found later that it was inaccurate. I recently had to put a new chain on my fat bike when the park tool showed 75% wear (park recommendation). I bought a Pedro Checker and tried it on my old chain. This showed that there was still a lot of life in the chain. It measures chain wear differently than the Park tool. The Park tool is used at the local bike shop, and since it wears out more than the Pedro tool, the bike shop may sell you a new chain sooner than necessary. Also, the Pedro is a lot cheaper: $16 compared to $27 for the Park CC2. Park has a new tool that measures chains just like Pedro's, but is much more expensive. In addition, Pedro's has chain hooks that allow you to remove or install the quick release link. It also has a chainring nut tool. Overall an excellent tool.
