I bought this for work. I currently have 2 monitors and this item allowed me to connect my second monitor (already had an HDMI to VGA adapter for the first monitor) and it worked great! If you're not computer savvy, make sure you adjust your monitor settings because as soon as you plug it in, it works but mimics the same thing from the first screen. By toggling monitor settings, you can do different things on each screen.
