Aside from being a bit overpriced (wow!), this is a worthy set. First of all thanks for the stock photos which generally reflect the actual color of the product. I have a hard time matching the colors with blue. The top cap is similar in design to the "Pog Top" caps in the Problem Solver as it is machined with a built in 5mm washer. In other words, instead of nesting on your stem or on top of some other spacer, it "covers" a few millimeters of protruding steerer tube. This is great if you leave a few millimeters of head tube sticking out; It sucks if your stem is already cut flush or just below the top of the stem. But regardless, once the middle screw is in, that top cap isn't going anywhere. (However, can you imagine installing an internal shim over a cut steerer tube to center that top cap? lol)
