These welders are not very well made. The handling is weak and they don't close properly. I was hoping they would be better than my old MIG port loading tongs but no. My biggest concern is that they won't close completely, even when pushed hard. He can cut the MIG wire if you grab him with a gorilla. Even with as tight a grip as I could muster, the tips don't touch. The second picture shows the normal pressure that must be applied to cut MIG wire, even stainless MIG wire. For goodness sake I can thread a piece of .030 gauge wire through the top. How something like this passes at the slightest glance. . . Oops forgot. For less than $40, YOU will be the first to see this.
