I use all Seachem cichlid aquarium products, salt, buffers, natural trace elements and have not noticed any difference in odor or water quality with this product, no idea It works or not with waste , ammonia or nitrates as I do 2 50% water changes a week and my water was perfect before this product and is still perfect after this product so I can't give it more stars because I don't know if it does anything, thanks for all the other great products.
