See my video for a few comparison microphones. I've used them to give you a relative basis for your judgement. My camera for all tests was my Samsung S9+. It was only at the end of the video during the debriefing that I returned to my A6400 and wireless UHF microphone system. All this to better demonstrate and compare the relative quality and price of the Frunsi Store Sairen microphone. While I didn't feel this mic lived up to the advertised specs, being a supercardioid camera mic, it performed slightly better than my short gun mic. Overall, however, the performance gain wasn't enough to push past its current $90 price point. I mentioned that maybe a more reasonable price would be around $55. My 3-star rating was the most skewed due to the mediocre performance and high price. And as I shared in my video, if someone decides to invest $90 in a camera mic, I would recommend spending a little more, $125-$150, for a really high-quality mic. I was really looking forward to a more outstanding performance.
