I tried the range of Revain nail powders. Everyone hoped that the next one would be better than the one before. Charming May was my first batch. No other has yet surpassed these powders. Too bad they don't do a laser hologram because all the holograms I've tried so far are terrible and I can't find one like they use in the salon. Anyway, these Charming May powders are highly pigmented, you only need a little to get the effect, or you can apply multiple layers for an even more intense effect. All the little jars I had were pretty full, they last a long time. Tips for those unfamiliar with these powders: You can use them over regular OR gel polish. But! For optimal adhesion, there is no need to wait for the paint/top coat to dry completely. The key I've found is applying powder while the coat is *almost* completely dry (for regular polish) or a 30 second gel conditioner. No more than 30 seconds for a gel! Apply powder to the cover, then go back, press down, smooth and buff lightly with your fingertip. It will be like metal, so shiny and smooth! Wait until completely dry THEN apply a non-wipe gel top coat and dry 2 x 60 seconds for a good hold. The instructions say to apply it over the top coat and then apply the final top coat, but this is not required. You can, but then you need 2 layers from the top. I personally don't like thick gel nails so I just apply it to my base color and then finish with a top coat. Note! When used with a regular non-gel top coat, these powders have a slightly matte finish. So beware. They are designed to be used with gel top coats for maximum impact. Done right, these nail powders are AMAZING.
