The best thing about this is that it automatically validates all files, even if they are not signed by any certificate authority! If you want to have an extra layer of security or do some other kind checks like checking hashes etc., then there's nothing much wrong with using centrifuges platform as well; but I think one should use their own tools/scripts alongside them because no matter how good your tooling might be (and mine certainly isn't) sometimes things go haywire when running scripts over hundreds-of thousands lines long - which can make debugging very difficult at times..
