Put this on my '87 YJ after doing the nutter bypass. Some things you should know before buying this carburetor that I learned after MONTHS of headaches. 1) This is a Motorcraft 2150, NOT a 2100. 2) This has the 1.14 venturi, ideally you want the 1.08 from what I've read. 3) The Mr. Gasket 1937 adapter will cause you to have a massive vacuum leak on the base of the carb. 4) You will need to fabricate an adapter or buy one from a guy on ebay who you'll read about in the hundreds of forum threads your likely to go through. 5) The accelerator pump will need to be replaced with one with a shorter shaft, else you'll have bad hesitation off idle. I used a Dorman 90082. 6) The power vavle is crap, it's a single stage with no markings on it to tell you what size it is and it looks like it was glued together from some scrap metal, get a replacement, 8.5 is a good size but I'm actually using a 7.5 right now. 7) The jets might be #48. They are the only components that are marked and mine read 485. Replace them with some #47's from Mike's Carburetor Parts. UPDATE: Power valve and jet threads are wrong size because this carb is foreign junk. Do not buy it. I'm still having hesitation off idle. I've checked everything else. Going with a Weber or efi next.
