I have had a telescopic sink wrench for decades and have always been able to unscrew under counter faucets. However, in any current home, the old wrench I had couldn't get the nut to tighten enough to hold it. I think it was due to a combination of angle and very limited turning radius. Didn't you know that I had this old house turned on and the same guy who made the recommendation for my old sink key used that to do the install on a recent episode. I immediately looked for it and found it, and it saved the day. In my opinion, using this tool once pays off as a plumber will charge ten times more just to come and dress a smelly mom. Happy now and a good tight cock.
