Review on 🎧 Sena SMH10-11 Bluetooth Motorcycle Headset/Intercom - Universal Microphone Kit (Single), Black by Clint Mcloven

What a great piece of equipment! Well made, beautiful and has so many features. I bought a pair of SMH10-11s with 2 different mics because I wasn't sure which would fit my modular helmet best. I ended up using an overhead mic on my Nolan N43 Trilogy helmet. The Sena headset also comes with a wide range of mounting accessories. I just installed the speakers but decided to also install additional speaker pads to bring them closer to my ears. I mainly use it to communicate with other riders in my group. The units are excellent for communicating with each other and have a very large range. We plugged headphones into our phones and when we went out of intercom range, I dialed my friend's number with my voice and we were able to talk as long as we were close enough to use the intercom again. In my area, the intercom basically works when we SEE each other and works well. When intercom mode is on and off, just talk back and forth like a phone call, you can hear the other person talking while you're talking, no need to wait for the other person to stop talking first like with a radio or walkie-talkie. I am assuming this means full duplex. I'm not sure if all other headsets work like this, but this one does. My Star Raider with Cobra Swept straight pipes and windshield is louder than his fully clad Spyder, and while I didn't hear any wind noise at all, my friend said he heard "some wind noise" while I wasn't speaking, but when I said it noise was gone. The headset fits my iPhone 5C perfectly; Phone, SIRI and GPS worked well which was a pleasant surprise. Haven't tried listening to music yet, so I don't know how well the speakers work that way, but all normal conversations and communications were loud and clear. I can also ask Siri to text someone, very cool. While on the intercom talking I received a call, answered the call and when it ended he went back to the intercom. Everything is very simple and does not distract at all when driving. We rode for about 4 hours and when I got home the battery was still "full", I would expect the quoted 10-12 hour ride time to be correct. First of all we are very happy with this Sena model and I will update the review later when I have more experience especially after meeting more riders in the group.
