Can everything work TOO WELL? If you put this outside in a porch light or a driveway light it would be perfect. If you plan to put it in your dressing room or any other room in your house, don't even bother trying. The sensor works through walls. Just lying in bed and moving around lights up "too much” in my closet. I thought I was going crazy when I first installed it. I put it in the closet and turned on the light. Waited and went out. I moved and he returned. I thought it was cool that it worked. I closed the closet door and was in my room and noticed the light under the door. I went back into the room and stood there for a second and he passed out. As soon as I moved it started again. I closed the door and just sat on my bed. light off. I thought it was ok, now it works. I got up and the light went on. I've done this 3 times with the same result. As I sat there with the lights off, my wife walked up the steps and out into the hallway. The light went on. I spent a week trying to "figure it out" before I took out the lightbulb. There's nothing quite like waking up at 3am to the closet door lighting up as my pug moves from one side of the bed to the other.
