I use two of these to power 2 Spider Farmer SF-1000 grow lights. They are both set at 18 hours in cultivation and 6 hours in autoflowering strains. I let one lamp come on half an hour before the other and go out half an hour before the other. I do this to simulate sunrise and sunset, and plants "stretching" towards the light and strengthening the branches and stems. This is a very simple mechanical timer that is easy to program and use. Can't comment on weather protection as I use mine internally but it looks like a tank! Ideal for grow tent applications but only has a timed output. If you need precise control of two devices, this probably isn't your answer!
