Review on ๐ŸŒก๏ธ Fluval Digital Submersible Thermometer by James Lesley

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Accurate at first, then inaccurate after use

It was accurate for a month, then it was a full 2 degrees off and I don't believe it. I smeared the seal with petroleum jelly the first time I used it and changed the batteries to make sure it wasn't just the batteries. I also switched tanks and used an old school glass thermometer to compare temperatures. I know the box says it's accurate to within 2 degrees, but that's too far in my opinion, even in a freshwater tank. Totally useless in a brine tank. If it didn't deviate by more than half a degree, maybe it could be used.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Doubtful
