🌡️ Fluval Digital Submersible Thermometer Review

Unfortunately this product did not work. I have yet to find a digital immersion thermometer that is accurate or will not break. It constantly showed crazy temperatures (always 4-9 degrees higher). Now it looks like water got into the screen and there are a few bubbles. I know we all want a tall, slim thermometer to match a new "modern" aquarium look. however, they do not seem to have arrived yet.

It was accurate for a month, then it was a full 2 degrees off and I don't believe it. I smeared the seal with petroleum jelly the first time I used it and changed the batteries to make sure it wasn't just the batteries. I also switched tanks and used an old school glass thermometer to compare temperatures. I know the box says it's accurate to within 2 degrees, but that's too far in my opinion, even in a freshwater tank. Totally useless in a brine tank. If it didn't deviate by more than half a…

I have to rate this low, my experience with it was just bad. It worked fine initially, sucked into the tank and worked great for a month. After that he stopped working. No water seems to come out, the battery compartment is dry. I thought it was just a dead battery. Well, the exchange didn't do anything. So now I'm stuck with a product that doesn't work because it doesn't meet Amazon's 30-day return policy. Aside from not working, this is a nice little thermometer.
