I had a previous PT model that didn't work when I switched to Mac. So I bought this as a replacement. I love printing labels and they last for years. It doesn't actually install as a printer on the Mac. It will recognize the USB device and then when you open the folder you can launch the pTouch Lite application. If you copy the pTouch Lite application to the Applications folder, it will not work. It also doesn't show up with printers and doesn't have a print queue. So brother, try to explain to my wife, who is not a techie, how to do it! Can you give us a printer that installs as a printer, has a print queue and an application that can be started normally. I have 2 other Brother printers (1 black and white multipurpose printer and 1 color laser printer) and I really like them. Setting up the P-touch on a Mac is a real treasure.
