Not hardening which was probably a good thing as it's a bit small and the teeth barely make contact with the flywheel. The only reason I gave it 2 runs is that it got the job done because I used a crank envelope and a bar tool to fine tune the TDC. The teeth would probably wear out if I made a full revolution with this bar tool.
