Review on LifeStraw Go Water Filter Bottle: The Ultimate 2-Stage Solution for Hiking, Backpacking, and Travel by Marina Smith

I love this concept, I take it with me for emergencies. But I was hoping to use it every day in the hospital (I work in the ER) and I find the regular fountain is awful so I wanted to drink from it every day. I understand that the resistance to how much you need to suck is more than a regular straw, whatever, due to hydrodynamics. But I can't believe the taste of plastic. I thought washing and soaking in water would help, but after a month of use it still tastes like water from a drinking tube that's been sitting in a plastic tube over the summer. 3 stars, 2 for practicality and 1 for nostalgia.
