My kid had a style that bolted to the bottom of the bike but the bolts tend to loosen after going over bumps, rocks etc. drove. Therefore, Thea cannot do it like they were designed. Putting them on footpegs and adjusting the height so the wheels sit high off the ground is a brilliant idea. This allows kids to learn to lean more and more with each adjustment, which helps them when it's time to take them off. I only wish I had discovered them sooner with my eldest child. Well made and very easy to assemble. Definitely recommend.
