This is cool, but I think I expected a lot more. Each is the size of a toothpick. In fact, they make great toothpicks. Those chunks of meat and pineapple in the product photo should be smaller than a tick tock. However, if you live up to that expectation and want fancy toothpicks to serve as party appetizers, that's really cool. They are produced one at a time and the little red thing makes them easy to handle at a party without touching the food (very important. We shake hands at parties and I hate touching food without washing my hands). Toothpicks are strong enough to use with beef, but I've used them for pieces of fruit and cheese together, as well as olives and cheese. They add a little class. I also really like these with olives on a sandwich. The only thing I don't like is that they are a bit pricey for 100 good toothpicks, but looking around I think they are actually a fair price.
