Just fixed a brake line and learned a few things such as B. the fact that brake line expanders vary by model and year of manufacture and country of origin. The flares on my 02 Dakota Mallet were bubble style flares which require ISO (unthreaded) fittings. I bought the line and fitting kit but could have saved ten bucks buying the 25ft kit just for the line since I had to find the correct ISO tips separately anyway. live and learn But the line stretched well and was fairly easy to work with (if you could easily run 13 feet of pipe down the frame of a rusty hammer). The order was successful and the truck is safe to drive again.
