I bought a very similar one about a year ago and you can see they are exactly the same with the receiver. They have a different brand name on them. So you should have the same electronics in both. The old one never had any problems so I got a second one. But the more you have, the more likely you are to find a bug that I've come across in this device. Aside from the issue of the main unit having to restart from time to time, the temperature it reports seems relatively accurate compared to some of the high-end ThermWorks hardware I've compared it to. But since it's expected to keep itself alive and give an alarm to let you know when something's wrong, constantly checking it to see if it's disabled or not is quite a hassle. So he loses stars for this situation.
