Minimum and maximum temperature recording

I am using it on a slow leak freezer. I'm watching the heat to see if it's rising. The metal doors on the freezer do not interfere with the signal. I bought a second one to control the temperature of the fridge in the road trailer from the truck. So far, so good.

Poor design works best in kitchen and dining room

FYI You will need 4 AA batteries for the transmitters and 2 AAA batteries for the receiver. This is where bad design comes into play. Why not use AA batteries for everything? I can't tell you whether the device is good or not, because I now have to wait 3 days for the AAA batteries.

Excellent range and accuracy

I have several freezers in the garage that get very hot in the summer and I wanted to keep an eye on them, it works very well, the freezers are about 40ft from the display and work great well well i have compared them to other thermometers and they are very accurate.

Completely useless - and dangerous. Reset every 24 hours! Don't buy this.

So if you go on holiday and the power goes out on a Tuesday, the device will automatically reset after 24 hours. For example, until Wednesday when it resets, it will show 68° as the maximum. You come back on a Saturday and the device only shows the high/low of the previous day. It's just dangerous and not stated in the product description. Seems to work fine. We have a freezer and a second fridge in the basement. The range wasn't good enough to register the sensors in the basement, so we moved the monitor to the freezer door in the basement. The alarm is loud enough, it shouldn't be a problem. YMMV. Tip 1: Put batteries in the sensors in front of the monitor so that both register when the monitor is first switched on. Unsolicited intermittent loss of signal

After I got them up and running I placed sensor 1 in a garage about 20 meters from the main unit and sensor 2 in a separate garage inside the fridge 10 meters to it monitor. as this garage can experience freezing temperatures and food can freeze in the refrigerator.
