Seems to work fine. We have a freezer and a second fridge in the basement. The range wasn't good enough to register the sensors in the basement, so we moved the monitor to the freezer door in the basement. The alarm is loud enough, it shouldn't be a problem. YMMV. Tip 1: Put batteries in the sensors in front of the monitor so that both register when the monitor is first switched on. Tip 2: If the sensor does not register, remove the batteries from the sensor and monitor. Try again. Tip 3: If the sensor indicator is flashing, you need to move the monitor closer to the sensor. Overall: nothing special, but simple, cheap and effective. Very good value for money. I'm curious to see how long the cold sensor batteries will last. I currently use cheap batteries from the dollar store. So if I run into problems I'll try to use brand new batteries.
