I bought an XL giraffe bed for my two guinea pigs. For an hour they tried to figure out who would sleep in it. Mind you, they're both easily compatible (they're snuggled up in it as I write this) but it's such a cute little bed, I can't blame them for not wanting to share it. I may have to buy a second one. My girls don't usually chew anything but hay so I have a feeling this bed is teeth proof, but if you have strong gum, be careful. Nothing against the longevity of this product, but any stubborn rodent will likely make short work of this bed. How it is. The bottom part is also quite thin but covered with a pillow so it's ok. The rest of the bed seems pretty solid. I'll know more when I have to wash it. The durability issues cause me to give it 4 stars but since it's my girl's bed. 5/5
