As mentioned in other reviews, size does not match true to size; at least two sizes smaller. I usually take 8; I ordered 10 and 12 and left 12. And 12 is just right. The fabric is like denim (I have black). I put three stars because the lightning wasn't black it was blue! So you can see a little. I bleached the fabric part with a magic marker. The length is exactly what I was looking for. I'm 5ft 8in and it was a little below the knee.
