Review on πŸ“¦ LuPro 100s Extra Thick Gold Foil Origami Paper - Japanese Quality by Kim Sanchez

Decent Paper

This paper is pretty decent. Of course, like any foil paper, it's not only perfect for glossing, it's also handy for anyone who struggles with weather-related warping of the paper over time. However, one difference I noticed with this paper is that it is quite thick compared to Aitoh/Fold 'Em foil paper. This can be good or bad depending on what you're doing. Sometimes you need really thin paper if you're concerned that multiple layers of paper will accentuate the visible mountain creases. You can crack when making complex models like animals. Personally, I make modular origami that requires easier folds but high precision, so this paper is perfect for that. Just think of your needs and order accordingly. However, the foil on this paper is quite strong. I make sharp creases and the foil doesn't rub off very easily compared to the thinner and more popular brands I've mentioned. Also remember that these are not 6 inch squares. They are actually standard 5 7/8" squares. I guess this isn't a suggestion for most customers, but I actually ordered them because they were 6" squares, as I have models with the 2" making squares that I had previously and she wanted to be able to cut them into three pieces to complete the model.I can't now but I'm still glad I made this purchase. The delivery was fast, in a pack of 100 sheets.Next time I order multiple packs I will ask if it is possible to combine shipping costs in one order.I was hit with two separate shipping costs even though they came in the same bag .

It's beautiful paper! It's super shiny and also a bit forgiving if you make an error.
