We have been working full time for 4 years now. So far we have had a coiled cable from Hopkins and one from Roadmaster. Each only lasted a few years before we noticed an issue where one of the bulbs on the towed vehicle was not working. Using a voltmeter/ohmmeter I found a lack of continuity (broken wire) from one end of the cable to the other. So let's try the Blue Ox cable and hope it lasts longer. So the biggest question is durability. Is it normal to change the cable so often? Ask me in a few years.
