I received this GPU fan as well as CPU fan because the fans in my MSI GS63VR stopped working in April. At first they seemed like a good replacement, both fans were spinning and making no noise. In late May/early June, the GPU fan started making noise and stopped working entirely later in the day. You opened the laptop to clean it, maybe dust or hair prevented it from rotating? No, nothing is stuck in the warehouse. Closed, turned on and still nothing. The 30 day return policy had expired so after long negotiations with Amazon and the seller a replacement was finally provided. Aside from this new DOA, the fans have been replaced and nothing. The fans also didn't turn on when loading games or editing programs. The CPU fan I ordered was still spinning, but much slower than when it was first installed, and my CPU idled up to 80 degrees. Before I got really worried that it might be something more serious, I decided to buy a new set of GPU CPU fans from someone on Ebay. Even though the CPU fan was running, I decided to swap it out. Lo and behold, my two fans spin faster and quieter than ever before at around 50-60 degrees when idling. Save time, money and effort and order fans from ebay. 2 stars for sending a replacement with no refund even though it didn't work.
