This is a really good winter coat. I ordered for my almost 8 year old who is 4ft 3" and weighs 58lbs. He usually wears a size 7-8. I won't wear it for a few months. I decided to go ahead and order 7-8. It fits very true to size. There's plenty of room for layers. The only possible problem I see is that the sleeves are too long. in short, when winter comes in a few months. He likes that it's lighter than his previous winter coat and said it's very comfortable. We recommend both.
