Bulbs were in good condition, arrived on time etc. No problem. However, when you use them, you get a strobe effect on anything that moves - you can see your hand "flashing" when you move it in front of your face. Under certain conditions, this can be cool, or at least not distracting However, for my application, I found the flickering annoying.The flickering comes from 60Hz AC power.
