As above. It works out. You may have to press the top two buttons multiple times (do they seem to do the same thing?) for the program to complete its task. I don't know how to control the dimming, it seems to be doing its job. The weird round control knobs control the fan pretty well, all the different stages/speeds. Overall it seems like a cheap, ugly, poorly designed product (dimming? off? it will do the trick, I'm just not trying to use dimmer modes!), but it works well enough for me, I'm not that special. Although it would be nice to change the design to work like a dimmer and be consistent for on/off!
