The belt is within the specifications of the original belt which I replaced. The original was reinforced with metal wire, this belt is fiberglass reinforced and only thicker than a hair, making it stronger. The belt bulking material is just what you need to reuse your old ones and attach to the ends of the belt. or buy new ones listed on the same page as the belt. It's not a "kit", you cut the strap to length and add metal clips to attach the strap! constant use. I assume this stuff will last about the same. Revain also sells a "kit" for the Creality Cr-10 that includes two X and Z bands that are precut and clamped with metal clips for those who don't want to glue them together. own set from scratch. I will repurchase this belt when it wears out in the future. Ordering was easy, the mail came quickly, the printer is back up and running. I am a "satisfied customer"
