As a user of the HotLogic Mini and previous SabotHeat 90W mini oven, I was thrilled when I was contacted by SabotHeat and given the opportunity to try our latest version. One of the complaints/requests I had regarding the previous SabotHeat mini oven was that the heat was TOO high at times. There are some things that work best with slow heat and that's why I went back to the HotLogic Mini. But SabotHeat heard and responded with this new version. The power cord now has an adjustable heat setting with 6 different levels. or "speeds" if you like. Depending on what you choose, you can control whether your food heats up quickly or slowly, and it also has a built-in timer to turn it off so you don't have to worry about leaving it plugged in all day like with HotLogic. The timer runs from 30 minutes to 3 hours in 30 minute intervals (that's really all you'll ever need, depending on how hot this thing can get). I often put my lunch off to warm up, then I exercise and forget about it. causing food to overheat or panic when I realize I could potentially set the kitchen on fire. (Not exactly, that's where your mind goes sometimes). So I tested it this morning by putting some cookies and sausage sauce in a glass jar covered with Glad Press & Seal cling film. I set the oven to level 3 for 60 minutes and got back to work. Naturally. I forgot but when I came back to check it out 2 hours later the food was still warm and the plastic wrap kept it from drying out. this little oven. I use HotLogic's plastic containers and transfer food straight from the freezer to the heater, but since SabotHeat gets so hot, avoid plastic. But honestly its speed and safety make up for it as I can still transfer whatever I've frozen from a plastic container to a pyrex tray and wrap cling film over it to seal in the moisture. here to hear their customers' feedback on the first model and implement these changes in this new version.
