My vehicle is a 2007.5 Sierra Diesel GMC 2500HD truck with a 6.6 liter diesel engine. This sensor MUST measure the pressure in the engine manifold. Depending on the measured pressure, it MUST output 0.5-4.5 volts as the "reference" voltage on the center wire. This voltage reference tells the engine how to regulate fuel and turbo settings during normal engine operation. The part I got outputs 4 volts all the time. Using this part caused the truck to immediately show engine trouble, turn on the check engine light, put the truck in "idle mode" and a host of other problems. In other words. This product literally broke right out of the box. Went to my local Gm dealer, bought a genuine Delco AC part ($120) and indeed it solved my MAP sensor problem and works great. You get what you pay for so I would avoid this product unless you need a solid solution to your problem and don't have time to mess around with cheap spares and/or don't know how to actually test a meter. There were 2 runs because the seller replied after I sent it back with questions about the faults so they could contact their supplier.
