As a teacher of special needs students, I ordered this a while back when I needed to record videos of processes and assignments to upload to my students' classes. I often found it difficult to hold the phone straight and often wished my arms were longer. This device was recommended to me by a fellow teacher and has become a lifesaver for me. It is great that this item works as both a tripod and a selfie stick. When closed, it is slightly larger than my hand and reaches arm's length. This makes it easy to pack away and when life gets back to normal it will easily fit in my backpack and purse. It has a built-in remote control holder that works up to 30 feet away. It's lightweight and comes with a CR1620 button cell battery already installed. That's a great thing!
