This oil heater requires little assembly, basically just unfold the legs and push the wheels into place. I had to press pretty hard on one of these reels, but I managed it. Also, it's packed tightly in a box with foam, and I asked someone to help me get it. It really works and you can use either the remote control or the buttons on the heater which is good because such a small remote control can get lost. Two alkaline batteries for the remote control are included and will need to be replaced. A small instruction manual is included in the package. It warns you against using it in the bathroom or other wet areas. To turn it on, they recommend starting at 95°F on the high setting. You then adjust with the buttons, or you can use the ECO mode on the remote control to automatically adjust the temperature based on the ambient temperature. There is a mute button to turn off the buzzer. There is a timer that you can set so that the device turns off at the right time. There's a lock button that you have to hold down for two seconds to enable or disable parental controls. The standard warranty is one year and can be extended at dreo.com. The heater is UL listed and made in China.
