    Quiet, really!: Room heater

    very quiet, no hum, just no hissing. heats up very hot, so hot that we have decided it is not safe for our home due to cats and visiting small granddaughters. Yes, the sides help keep it from getting too hot, but the top still gets very hot, as do the cracks for a cat or child to get their paws/fingers into.     Lots of features. Made in China.

    This oil heater requires little assembly, basically just unfold the legs and push the wheels into place. I had to press pretty hard on one of these reels, but I managed it. Also, it's packed tightly in a box with foam, and I asked someone to help me get it. It really works and you can use either the remote control or the buttons on the heater which is good because such a small remote control can get lost. Two alkaline batteries for the remote control are included and will need to be replaced. A

    Great heater! Best Heating, Cooling & Air Quality

    The bathroom in one wing of our house is constantly cold in winter so we usually use a small oil heater to keep it warm.     The heat mainly comes from above, not from the sides

    It differs from other oil filled heaters I've had in that most of the heat seems to be expelled upwards through the vents on the top of the unit rather than out the "fins". Don't get me wrong, they get hot, they just aren't where most of the heat goes. I really thought it wouldn't work.     Pleasant heat radiation, but I miss the fan

    This heater is designed for those who are only looking for radiant heat. I had never come across a radiation only device before and thought that maybe the air would be less dry without a fan.
