I wrote a great review comparing it to what I think is the equivalent model of the popular pressure cooker. However, that was before I realized that this pressure cooker was missing some basic features. I can cook anything in it, but it's such a problem I just would never use it. The problem is that you can't adjust the cooking time other than to switch between 3 presets for each function. You can also choose between 8 minutes, 10 minutes or 12 minutes cooking time for manual pressure cooking. If you want a different amount you can go through the preset buttons and select one of them that has the time you want, for example one of the rice cooking times is 15 minutes. Or you can just restart it for as long as you need. Let's say it takes you 30 minutes. You can easily restart the 10 minute pressure cooker setting when the pressure cooker beeps to say it's ready. In my opinion this is a crazy workaround. If it's not clear, watch my video. I think if you're the kind of person who only uses presets in their microwave (like just a popcorn button) and never enters their own numbers for cook times, this pressure cooker is for you. Just remember that other brands have presets as well, but they can also be customized to suit any cooking duration. Also the 11 in 1 from the "otherโ brand isnโt comparable as it comes with a fryer lid which sets the price. Difference. This one is more like a 9 in 1 and the price is pretty much the same now at $99 for one or the other. The good news is that every time you press the button, a loud beep sounds, effectively censoring all of your swearing! *2 stars because it can actually cook under pressure. My frozen chicken cooked over high pressure rice in 15 minutes came out perfect. But it wasn't worth the effort to find a ridiculous workaround. If they fix this problem which seems to be a bug and send me a working one I will update this review. **Update: The seller contacted me and said the pot is designed to make pressure cooking easier and eliminate user error. I appreciate that they didn't give me an apology. If you feel like you are the only person to be thought of and don't want to adjust your cooking times beyond the three presets then this is a 4 star product. The seller also said they will change this in the future. If I could get one at this moment I would give it 5 stars because then it would be the perfect pressure cooker. Thanks again to the seller who decided to fix this issue. Since the up and down buttons work with a start delay function, it would be sufficient to have the up and down buttons work programmatically depending on the cooking time. I'm still very upset about that. I love getting recipes from the internet and was so excited to add a 6 liter pressure cooker to my cupboard to replace my 8 liter pressure cooker. 8 qt takes longer to reach pressure than 6 qt and you need to adjust the amount of water which may affect the recipe if it is 6 qt. I'm going up to three stars because the seller admitted it didn't have the feature I was looking for. I will not change my mind that I will never buy it like this. I really hope they fix it.
