UPDATE! We bought a second one and put them side by side and they all go through the side windows like one big tunnel. The weather was cold and I noticed they snuggled up indoors and kept warm. The wood is thick and they are very well made. As for urine getting into the wood, we spray the impregnated parts with Natures Miracle and that takes care of it! This house is very well built, I was surprised at how strong it is! My pig just gave birth to babies and it fits the whole family without crowding (all 5 people). They all immediately went inside and jumped in and out through the windows. I can say this was a great purchase. At first I thought the price was a bit high but after seeing it in person it turned out to be better than I expected. The only minor downside is that it absorbs things because it's wood and I wish it was easier to clean in that regard, but that's fine. We are really happy with it!
